Thought I'd do another quick post about Fursonas. Or i should say the Furry's appearance. No two Furs have the same look, well twins might but that's different. For example this is mine http://tarrenger.deviantart.com/gallery/?offset=24#/art/a-new-ID-for-me-188378593?_sid=547ffc44 this is essentially what i look like to other furs. its a sortof virtual avatar i guess. though i wish i looked like this all the time! X3 anyway the great thing about being a furry. anything goes when it comes to the fursona. any species you want to be. ranging from machines to vampires to plants even! you can mix things up and make entirely new species! here's a friend of mine as an example http://swimmingferret.deviantart.com/art/My-ID-for-2010-155460908 pretty creative huh? my own species is unique though the name isn't as original ^^;

Have you organized any Furries gathering? I've read some Furries make their own real custome which can cost a looooooooooot of money, right?
ReplyDeletei haven't done any real furmeets as they are called. i hang out with a few other furs i know that live close by though. as for the costuming. that a fursuit. and paying someone to make you one can be expensive, depending on the complexity and cost of the materials. it can also take months to make sometimes. typically if you're good with your hands. you can save some of that money by looking up tutorials and making it on your own. :3

ReplyDeleteWell it took me a few years to finally settle on my current fursona's form. i actually started out as a lizard X3

but it felt too common, and i added features such as the snake like body, the fur, the cat type ears. and the webbing in the hands. pretty much a mash up from several animals i like, the coloring came about since blue is a fave color of mine. the red was added to break up the solid mass of blue i became X3
